Moving...hopefully...

I see I have failed to mention that we now have our house up for sale! I know I mentioned it on facebook so a lot of you already know. We love our neighbors, they are great, but we are looking to move somewhere with growing families such as ours and we have a lovely lot chosen in a community here in South Jordan called Daybreak. The lot is located right across the street from the lake and it is down the street from the Oquirrh Mountain Temple! We are super excited but nervous we won't sell our house in time. They will reserve the lot for us for 3 months at a time (depending on the market) and they will not begin building until our house has closed. We have now been up on the MLS for almost 2 months and we have had a ton of showings but no offers yet. We have 9000 South behind our house and even though we have a privacy fence, and the noise is very minimal, it still hangs most people up.

Anyway I just thought I would post a few pictures of our current home now on the market, and also one of the exterior of the home we plan to build (shown first), if all goes well. Also the wrap around porch faces the lake, which Ryan is stoked about! :) He has big dreams of sitting out on the porch gazing at the view. lol!

DISCLAIMER: I did not take any of these pictures, my realtor did, and while I don't love them, they do the job and I'm way too busy to get spotless pictures of my house...as he took these I was one room ahead trying to tidy up what my kids were one step ahead of me messing up! :) Hopefully before we move I will get some really good shots because I'm always sad I have none of our Rexburg home and we put a lot of work into this house so I want to have pictures to remember it by!

Your house looks fantastic! I hope you sell it soon so Ryan can have his wrap-around porch...funny, that's on the top of Kyle's wishlist too! As far as the blog design goes, I think my favorite is the "flipcard" version. I like that you can see all of the past images all at once and pick accordingly but still have the option to go to the next post with the arrows at the top. The "classic" version is my second choice. Cool theme! Hope you guys are having a great winter! Still no snow here...yet. :(
